Study of SAtisfaction and Autonomy in the choice of COntraception among women in Seine-Saint-Denis

Project overview The ESAACO93 project (Étude de la Satisfaction et de l'Autonomie dans le Choix de la Contraception des femmes de Seine-Saint-Denis) aims to explore the link between contraceptive satisfaction and autonomy in contraceptive choice. This is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study of 1,000 women aged 18 to 54, living in Seine-Saint-Denis and using contraception. Data will be collected via a structured questionnaire comprising two validated scales: the SATMED-Q (satisfaction with treatment) and the FP-ADM (decision-making autonomy in family planning). Data will be collected in the field (public spaces, shopping centers) or online, in French or English. Statistical analyses will aim to identify associations between satisfaction, autonomy, socio-demographic factors and contraceptive modalities. The study will run from October 2025 to July 2026, under the direction of Dr Anne Mottais and Dr Yannick Ruelle, with no specific funding.
