This Master’s degree specialization is aimed at producing professionals capable of designing, implementing, developing and evaluating Education for Health programs. The term “education for health” is proposed, here, to foster a methodological connection between health education, education to bring care and aid, and therapeutic education, and to center instruction for the Master’s degree on all educational interventions aimed at individual or group learning that enables patients to maintain a health status consistent with their personal or social life plan.
A second objective is to ensure that future professionals are capable of coordinating different education for health programs and promoting educational structures in public or private healthcare facilities and health networks.
